Onshoring company creates IT jobs in rural U.S.A.

TWO RIVERS, WI (October 25, 2012) – The State of Wisconsin has honored a Two Rivers business as one of the most exciting and promising young companies in Wisconsin. Rural America Onshore Outsourcing, 1308 Washington St., recently received the prestigious Minority Business Rising Star Award from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC). The WEDC gave the honor to Rural America Onshore Outsourcing for its role in bringing jobs back to America and keeping them here, and for helping companies save money by hiring qualified professionals from rural locations across the country.

The WEDC gives the “Rising Star” award to recognize an emerging minority business that shows great promise as an innovator, either by virtue of its product or service, or shows promise of strong competitive advantage and growth.

“The nation is focused on jobs right now,” says Sammie McDonald, COO of Rural America. “It’s exciting that a minority-owned company here in Manitowoc County is helping lead the way to find and keep jobs in the U.S.A.”
