STURTEVANT, Wis. – (August 9, 2012) – Riley Construction was selected by Gateway Technical College to perform construction management services for a 12,700-square-foot addition to their iMET Center in Sturtevant, Wisconsin. Gateway Technical College’s iMET Center is focused on promoting business development, workforce development, and technology innovation in southeast Wisconsin. Partnerships among local and regional educational institutions, business development organizations, and local industries enable Gateway to bring all of the necessary skills, capabilities, and resources to develop new products, services, and businesses, while simultaneously creating the future technology workforce. The building addition will provide more hands-on education for the college and will utilize a high-bay space which will house machinery for training purposes and a second floor area for additional classrooms and conference rooms.
Construction is already underway and the project should wrap up in early December, 2012.
