Burlington, WI – Quad/Graphics’ Burlington printing plant will host an event Friday morning, October 26, at which Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce (WMC) will present State Rep. Robin Vos (R-Burlington) with its Working for Wisconsin Award.

* The plant is located in the Burlington Manufacturing and Office Park on the south side of town. From the Burlington Bypass, follow Wisconsin Hwy. 83 (Pine Street) approximately 3 miles south and turn right onto Blackhawk Drive into the Burlington Manufacturing and Office Park. Follow Blackhawk Drive to the plant.

* The WMC’s Working for Wisconsin award is presented to legislators who stand up for jobs and improve the state’s business climate by voting 75 percent or greater in support of the pro-jobs positions on the WMC legislative scorecard. State Rep. Vos, a Burlington business owner who has represented the 63rd State Assembly District since 2004, scored 100%.

* Quad/Graphics’ 145,000-square-foot Burlington plant, part of our nationwide Commercial & Specialty print division, specializes in printing short- to medium-run catalogs, directories, manuals, books and publications. The plant, which employs 160 people, is home to a 40,000-square-foot sheetfed-press megacenter that started up operations in 2011.
