Ten Markets, Thousands of Opportunities: Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Brunei, Burma (Myanmar), Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam

Madison, WI – One of the fastest growing parts of the world, the ASEAN region consists of 10 emerging countries representing 600 million people and combined GDP of US$1.5 trillion. The IMF forecasts 6.1% growth for 2013 with rapidly development opportunities for US business across numerous industries. What does this mean for the US economy and US business?

On Tuesday October 9th 2012, the Madison International Trade Association (MITA) will host a luncheon program to address these issues and offer companies overview of the competitive business opportunities with these emerging markets.

Presenters at the event include Marc Mealy, Vice President of the US-ASEAN Business Council based in Washington DC and Brian Arnold, Distillers Dried Grain Manager of the DeLong Company located in Clinton, WI.

The event will take place at the Madison Marriott West at 1313 John Q Hammons Drive. Registration starts at 11:30 a.m.; the program begins at 12:30 p.m. and includes lunch. The cost to attend is $25 for members and $40 for non-members.
