J.K. Lee gives back to the community

J.K. LeeBlackBeltAcademy, a locally owned and operated family run Tae Kwon Do Academy with 5 Milwaukee area locations, is proud to announce a multi-dojang-wide community service project called “Project Honey Creek.”

Due to financial shortfalls within Milwaukee Public Schools, J.K.LeeBlackBeltAcademy has decided to “adopt” HoneyCreekElementary School. With this adoption, J.K.LeeBlackBeltAcademy students and staff will volunteer their time to paint classrooms, wash windows, work on landscaping and rebuild the picnic tables at the school.

In addition to volunteering their time to make the school look and feel better, the Academy is also donating games and classroom supplies that the teachers have requested.

For over 35 years, J.K.LeeBlackBeltAcademy has donated tens of thousands of hours to the community and taking action when no one else will. This relationship demonstrates J.K.LeeBlackBeltAcademy commitment to building a stronger local community.
