Will Represent Twin-Cities, Western Wisconsin Area as a Director of Global Accounts

MINNEAPOLIS – HelmsBriscoe, a global leader in meetings procurement and a significant volume purchaser in the meetings and event industry, announced the appointment of Kris Finger as a Director of Global Accounts. In her role, Ms. Finger will assist meeting planners source conferences at the best facilities in the world–handling site selection, contract negotiation and risk mitigation.

Specializing in national association meetings, Ms. Finger boasts more than 20 years of experience planning over 1,000 meetings and conferences for more than 100 different professional associations. Additionally, having served as Executive Director for a number of Twin Cities-area associations, Ms. Finger has first-hand experience and valuable expertise in negotiating the challenges these organizations encounter.

“HelmsBriscoe provides a platform that marries my experience with associations and allows them to become even more successful,” stated Ms. Finger, “I’m very excited to be a part of a company that values its clients as much as I do.”

Prior to joining HelmsBriscoe, Ms. Finger founded and operated Nonprofit Solutions (www.NonprofitSolutions.com) from 1996 until its sale in 2010. The company provides administrative, management and support services to nonprofit organizations and professional associations. Initially working out of her home, she built the organization up to a cutting-edge, multi-million dollar entity representing more than 30 clients with a staff of 20.

“We’re extremely fortunate to have an individual as knowledgeable and as passionate about her work as Kris,” said Michael Bergman, managing director for HelmsBriscoe. “Not only does she understand the intricacies of associations, but also the immeasurable effect successful meetings and conventions can have on influencing member engagement and retention for our clients.”
