Move will create up to 64 jobs

MADISON – Governor Scott Walker announced today that Precision Ice Blast Corporation will relocate its production and product training facility from Wallace, MI to Peshtigo, WI. The relocation is expected to add 64 jobs to the community.

“I am pleased to welcome Precision Ice Blast Corporation to Wisconsin,” said Governor Walker. “We continue to work hard to attract businesses to Wisconsin and create a positive business environment that fosters job creation.”

The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) is providing Precision Ice Blast up to $400,000 tax credits over three years to support the relocation. Precision Ice Blast is planning to invest more than $1.45 million to construct its production and product training facility.

Precision Ice Blast is an independent contracting operation that provides ice blasting services to many industries such as printing, food, paper, tape, automotive, marine, restoration, and manufacturing. It uses CO2 blasting as the modern alternative to chemical cleaning, sandblasting, water blasting, steam cleaning, manual scrubbing, scraping, and hand tooling.

The WEDC is Wisconsin’s lead economic development agency.
