MADISON, Wis. – Agrace HospiceCare will host a free educational question-and-answer discussion focusing on what workplaces can do to assist employees who are grieving. “Grief in the Workplace: Help for Employees, Supervisors and Managers,” will be presented at Agrace HospiceCare, 5395 E. Cheryl Parkway, Madison, on Tuesday, January 8, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Practical suggestions and recommendations will be offered for dealing with grief in the workplace. Attendees will also learn ways to support others who are facing a loss in the future or caring for a loved one who is near the end of life. In addition, the presentation will teach the comforting and supportive things to say and how to avoid words that unintentionally hurt when others are grieving.
