ABR Employment Services: ABR wins national communications award

Madison, WI — ABR Employment Services (ABR) won a Specialty Advertising Award in the 2012 American Staffing Association Staffing (ASA) VOICE Awards competition. This national annual awards program recognizes the best ASA member communications campaigns in 16 categories, from direct mail to social media.

“Our goal was to design a fun, attention getting branding campaign,” said Joan Starszak-Pajari, ABR’s marketing specialist. “The Packers had won the Super Bowl so football was top of mind. We designed custom packaging with an oval cut-out imprinted with whimsical copy phrases coupling ABR and football. A football imprinted with ABR’s logo, website address and social media icons showed through the cut out. Our sales team and branch managers delivered the complete package to prospects during the official start of the 2012 NFL football season. It was a big hit!”

The ASA Staffing VOICE Awards competition recognizes the voice, originality, innovation, creativity, and effectiveness—or VOICE—of ASA member communications campaigns. A panel of communications experts judges the entries in two award classes, for independent and national staffing firms, on general appeal and overall quality, content and message, originality of approach, target audience, and objectives. The 2012 ASA Staffing VOICE Awards competition was sponsored by CareerBuilder, an ASA corporate partner.
