For Immediate Release

MADISON, Wis., Jan. 4, 2012 – Aberdean Consulting LLC, a leading provider of information technology solutions and services to small and midsized businesses, today announced that it has acquired the client list of Madison-based Sundial Software Corp.’s small business support service. Two Sundial employees instrumental in managing and providing service to those clients will be joining Aberdean. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

The acquisition will enable Aberdean to offer its full range of solutions and services in addition to the support services its new group of small business clients already had been receiving from Sundial. It also will allow the company to better serve its existing clients through the unique capabilities and experience of the former Sundial employees.

“Aberdean has built a strong reputation for IT expertise and service because of the strength of our great people,” said Jim Blair, Aberdean’s managing partner. “We look forward to continuing the Aberdean tradition with those small businesses that are joining our client list from Sundial. We welcome our new professionals, who have built track records of outstanding client service that make them a great fit at Aberdean. In addition to helping us serve our new clients, they’ll enable us to bring new resources to our existing clients.”

Aberdean was founded in 2003 and provides award-winning IT solutions and services to small and midsize companies in Dane County, including network and computer system design and administration, data security, maintenance, help desk support and its fully-managed, cloud-based FlexTec™ virtual network infrastructure-as-a-service. The company has been frequently voted one of the top IT consulting in Dane County by the readers of InBusiness magazine for three consecutive years from 2008-2010.

“The IT options for small businesses are changing more dramatically than ever because of the convergence of technologies and the rapid adoption of cloud computing,” Mr. Blair said. “Aberdean’s acquisition of our new clients and employees will help us reach even more businesses to help them sort through how to best leverage their internal IT assets, take advantage of the power of the cloud, and provide them the outstanding service and support that we’ve built our business on.”
