UW-Stevens Point: Pointer undergraduate research showcased at the state Capitol

Twelve University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point students were among Wisconsin’s top undergraduate researchers who recently showcased their work at the state capitol during the “Posters in the Rotunda” annual spring event that demonstrates the return on the state’s investment in public higher education.

Elected officials and the UW System Board of Regents were among the audience in Madison as the UWSP delegation joined colleagues from across the UW System. Faculty mentors included Diane Caporale of biology, Paul Doruska of forestry, Ken Menningen of physics and astronomy, Rob Michitch of natural resources, and Jason D’Acchiolli of chemistry.

UWSP alumni Gordy Faust and Sam Dinga joined the delegation as it also visited with legislators.
