UW-Stevens Point: KEEP to host educator resources tents at energy fair

The Wisconsin K-12 Energy Education Program (KEEP) at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point once again is hosting educator resources tents as part of the ReNew the Earth Institute at the 22nd annual Midwest Renewable Energy Fair in Custer.

The energy fair will be held this weekend, June 17-19. Hours are Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The educator tents are open to formal and non-formal educators as well as the general public. Participants will receive hands-on experience with energy education resources and learn more about classroom resources. Workshops offered will cover a range of topics from helping students identify the best energy-efficient appliance options to building miniature wind turbines.
