Agency Wins for Snap-on Tools Creative Work

Milwaukee, Wis. – November 15, 2011 – Traction Factory, a business development and communications firm in Westown Milwaukee has been selected as a winner of the 2011 Automotive Communications Award for its creative work on behalf of Snap-on Tools in the following business-to-business categories:

B to B Ad – Ad Campaign to Technician & Repair Audience – SOLUS Ultra “Neon”

This print campaign introduced Snap-on’s SOLUS Ultra diagnostic platform to technician and shop owner customers by focusing on platform features, ease of use and improved functionality of the product. The two print ads feature a QR code which takes technicians to an online product demo. The ad series is currently running in a wide range of automotive trade publications.

B to B Logo Design/Usage – Torque It Up

The Torque It Up logo design was developed to add energy and excitement to Snap-on’s regional kick-off meetings in the U.S and Canada. Supported by many interactive elements including sound design (revving engines) and dashboard visuals, the new animated logo introduced a fun but relevant visual that helped engage franchisees in attendance.

B to B Special Promotional Event – 2010 Snap-on Franchisee Conference

Traction Factory worked together with the Snap-on marketing team to organize the single largest gathering of Snap-on associates and guests as part of the company’s 2010 Franchisee Conference held in Orlando Fla. Incorporating a “Learn More, Earn More” theme, the team helped drive a successful event measured by record-breaking attendance, exceeding sales goals and positive satisfaction survey results.

“These awards are very special to us as they spotlight work that is strong both creatively and strategically and reflect the collaborative nature of our client partnerships,” said Scott Bucher, president, Traction Factory. The agency’s joint effort on the 2010 Snap-on Franchisee Conference was also recognized with a Bell Award from the Business Marketing Association earlier this year.

Traction Factory’s business development philosophy is to work together with clients to address any challenge and do whatever it takes to create momentum and measurable results. A direction that is praised by long-time clients such as Snap-on Tools as well as new clients such as Rec Boat Holdings which manufactures and markets world-class Four Winns®, Glastron® and Wellcraft® boat brands.
