MILWAUKEE – Nation Consulting, a Milwaukee-based public strategies firm, announced that it has added three new members to its team.

Laurie Arendt is a new senior associate at the firm. Arendt, an award-winning writer, has more than 20 years of publishing experience, including a long stint as a writer and editor for Corporate Report Wisconsin. Arendt has worked in the for-profit, corporate and non-profit sectors, and is looking forward to applying that background to her new position at Nation Consulting.

“I believe my experience in writing about Wisconsin’s leading businesses, along with my knowledge of the political issues relevant to them, will be an asset to this position,” she said. “I am pleased to be part of one of the state’s leading public strategies firms.”

Nation Consulting has also added Cara McCarthy to the newly created position of project manager. McCarthy, a recent UW-Madison graduate with a double major in Political Science and Geography, has worked on Wisconsin political campaigns and has served as a legislative intern.

The firm also has hired Marquette graduate Allyson “Ally” Davis as a project coordinator in the Milwaukee office. Davis majored in Political Science and Women and Gender Studies, and her political experience also includes work on political campaigns and with the Milwaukee-based, national advocacy group, 9to5, National Association of Working Women.
