Award Ceremony Set for Nov. 21
WHAT: Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin will be awarded a $5,000 grant from the Monsanto Fund, the philanthropic arm of Monsanto Company. The grant will be used to help to sustain the Janesville Mobile Pantry, which distributed 137,793 pounds of food to 6,262 individuals last year alone.
WHO: Thomas Jury of Monsanto Company will present representatives from Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin with the grant. Media are invited to attend the check presentation. Interview and photo opportunities available.
