Milwaukee Bombers: Madison Australian football tournament

Madison, WI — The Milwaukee Bombers Australian Football Club will be hosting an Australian Football tournament at the University of Wisconsin fields located on University Bay Dr. on June 11 from 11:30am – 5pm. Participating teams include Chicago United, Minnesota Freeze, Cincinnati Dockers, Des Moines Roosters and the Milwaukee Bombers. The event is free and open to the public. New players are also welcome and if interested should contact Doren James at president@milwaukeebombers.com.

The Milwaukee Bombers are an amateur Australian Football team based in Milwaukee. The team represents Wisconsin and is made up of players from throughout the state. The majority of games and practices are held in Milwaukee, however, the Bombers also travel and compete against other cities in the country.

The Milwaukee Bombers participate in the United States Australian Football League (USAFL). The United States Australian Football League, founded in 1997, is an amateur, grassroots sports organization dedicated to the development of Australian Football in the United States. The USAFL, which comprises of more than 40 member clubs, promotes participation by emphasizing awareness and a sense of community within its member clubs, by setting standards by which member clubs agree to abide and by fostering youth programs across the United States.
