Madison, WI –The Madison International Trade Association (MITA) will offer a unique hands-on workshop led by James Foley, award-winning author of The Global Entrepreneur: Taking your Business International and director of the NASBITE Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP) credential.

The event will take place Tuesday June 14 at the Madison Marriott West (1313 John Q Hammons Drive. Registration starts at 11:30 a.m.; the program begins at 12:30 p.m and includes lunch.

The innovative workshop will help companies of all sizes develop a strategy for entering international trade. James Foley will take workshop participants through an interactive case study of a U.S. company struggling to take its business international. Mr. Foley will focus on teaching strategies to avoid the pitfalls of reactive exporting and techniques for overcoming international business hurdles.

James Foley currently serves as a Director of the Turner Center for Entrepreneurship, Bradley University, and manages a program that provides training in international business planning, marketing, logistics and export finance. Mr. Foley’s book The Global Entrepreneur: Taking your Business International discusses techniques that small and medium sized companies can use to expand international trade.
