(Milwaukee, December 3, 2011–) Oak Creek resident Tracy Sowinski, 24, has joined KingsHead Hair Salon,1246 N. Van Buren in downtown Milwaukee, as a specialist in men’s haircuts and styling. She is a graduate of Vici Capilli Beauty School, and has worked in Milwaukee as a hair stylist for the past three years.

According to KingsHead owner Dave Lemke, Tracy is a “very talented young woman” and is knowledgeable about the latest trends in men’s hairstyles.

“It’s nice to see men becoming more confident in the way they wear their hair,” she says. “It’s important to find a really good stylist who can give you an exceptional haircut that will achieve your chosen style.”

“Men today have a number of interesting hairstyles to choose from,” Lemke says. “They can choose retro styles as well as styles that are more current. We see trends today that range from very short hair cut to the scalp, to very long hair down the back. An employer’s dress and appearance code may influence some choices, as will some interesting haircuts of popular celebrities.”

Lemke says today’s barbers and stylists need to leave appropriate length of hair on top and for bangs, too. “Today, customers may want longer bangs in the front and short and choppy hair on the top. Layered haircuts can provide either a casual or formal look. And depending on the length of one’s hair it can always be trimmed or allowed to grow, whichever is appropriate,” he says. “Some of the best hairstyles to create and easiest to maintain involve short layered hair, which can be worn with highlights. They can also be self- styled.”

In addition to men’s hair, Sowinski enjoys doing women’s haircuts and colors and is training in Micro Point Links—a unique Cyberhair hair replacement technique that increases the density of hair.

KingsHead, in business for 40+ years, also specializes in massage, pedicures, hair styling, and facials as well as hair restoration for both men and women. For more information, contact Tracy at KingsHead at 414-273-7980, or visit them on the web at www.kingshead.com.
