Madison – Today Governor Walker released the following statement regarding the announcement that Biddy Martin would be leaving Wisconsin:
First and foremost I would like to thank Biddy for her personal friendship. Beyond that, I respect the tremendous courage she exhibited by being a strong leader of our state’s flagship university and showing independence from the bureaucratic status quo. Innovators like Biddy are needed at all levels in Wisconsin. I wish her the best in her new position.
