The search results are color coded for easy reference and displayed on a map, as well as in a list format below the map. By simply typing in an address, city name or attraction in any of dozens of languages, the user can immediately see which stations are nearby including distance and direction, which routes are served at each station and a direct link to the transportation company’s website. “If the map is a bit too clustered in large cities”, says Graziano, “it’s no problem. The large colored icons to the left of the map can easily toggle on or off each mode of transportation.” The next stage category to be added will be for public transportation options at any given airport.
The addition of the “Air Taxi” category to the search results displayed on GoScopia.com, offers Scopia Technologies a step forward into the private jet charter industry, since there is a great need by the operators to increase public awareness of their product. GoScopia.com is also a destination-specific advertising platform for hotels, tours, visa services, attraction tickets, rail passes, travel insurance, local tour operators and many others.
