MILWAUKEE — Davis & Kuelthau, s.c. today announced that Marilyn M. Carroll, Alec Dobson and Jennifer J. Kopp have joined the firm’s Litigation Group and will be located in its Brookfield office.

Carroll joins the firm as a shareholder with a primary focus on health care litigation. For more than twenty years Carroll has served clients in the health care industry by representing health care providers, such as long-term care facilities, hospitals, physicians, nurses and clinics, in legal actions. She also provides consultation on risk management program development and quality improvement. She received her undergraduate degree in nursing, with distinction, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, her Master of Science degree in nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Marquette University Law School.

Kopp, who joins the firm as a senior associate in the health care litigation practice, is a graduate of Marquette University Law School, summa cum laude, and her practice areas include complex civil and commercial litigation. She represents businesses and individuals, as well as long-term care providers such as hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, physicians, nurses and other medical personnel.

Dobson also joins the firm as an associate focusing on health care litigation. Dobson is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from Marquette University. His primary focus is in health care litigation representing long-term care facilities. Additionally, his practice includes general civil litigation.
