Waterloo, Wisconsin, November 8, 2011—Prolong the flavor of Thanksgiving by creating grilled cheese sandwiches that combine turkey or roast beef with Crave Brothers Farmstead Classics. These two new celebration sandwich recipes just might become holiday classics.

The Petit Frère® Thanksgiving is a mini Thanksgiving feast between two pieces of bread. This grilled cheese sandwich combination features pumpernickel bread, sliced turkey, Crave Brothers Petit Frère® (washed-rind soft ripened cheese) with the rind removed and cut into slices, and cranberry sauce. Made in a skillet, the buttered bread is layered with turkey, Petit Frère® cheese, and the cranberry sauce, then grilled until the sandwich is browned and crispy.

Think of The George (named for cheese maker George Crave) as the next-generation Reuben sandwich. Featuring sliced roast beef on pumpernickel bread, the sandwich gets its pizzazz from a creamy mixture of Crave Brothers Mascarpone, horseradish sauce and finely ground rosemary. Simply spread the mascarpone mixture onto a bread slice, add roast beef slices, and top with the other slice of bread. Butter the bread on both sides and grill in a hot skillet until the sandwich is browned and crispy.

Crave Brothers Farmstead Classics are all produced at their state-of-the-art farmstead cheese factory. In producing its family of award-winning artisan cheeses, the Crave Brothers use 100% green power, and practice water conservation and recycling.
