Crave Brothers Farmstead Cheese produce four varieties of cheese in their factory, located across the road from their family dairy farm. Fresh mozzarella is a milky cheese that comes in a variety of sizes and includes a marinated version. Crave Brothers Mascarpone is made with sweet cream, giving it a fresh and sweet flavor. Farmer’s Rope is a farm fresh handmade deli string cheese. Finally, their signature cheese, Les Frères and Petit Frère are semi-soft washed-rind cheeses with an earthy, fruity flavor.

The top three winners of each category will prepare their recipe for the Waterloo Farmers Market on August 11, 2011 where a panel of local celebrity judges will award the grand prize winner. Guests of the farmers market will have the opportunity to taste test the dishes as well. Prizes include cheese gift baskets as well as gift cards to area restaurants. The grand prize winner’s recipe will be featured on the Crave Brothers Farmstead Cheese website, printed on recipe cards to be handed out at events, appearances and more!
