Clifton Gunderson LLP will present a free webcast titled “What’s New in U.S. and Global Taxation” on November 9, 2011 for business executives, chief financial officers, tax directors and others involved in taxation and international issues.

During the webcast, our presenters will highlight:

About our presenters:

Chris Beaulieu, CPA, MST Beaulieu is a tax partner in Clifton Gunderson’s Oak Brook, Ill. office. With more than 26 years of tax accounting experience, he has worked with entities across a wide range of industries. He has special expertise in the areas of consolidation tax issues, complex multi-state and local sales and use tax issues, and corporate structuring and restructuring to capitalize on favorable tax positions. In addition, Beaulieu has provided direct assistance before the Internal Revenue Service and state taxing authorities. He brings specialized skills in tax consulting and planning for the unique situations encountered by business owners and executives regarding federal and state corporate, individual, partnership and fiduciary income tax. Beaulieu is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society. He is also a member of the State and Local Tax Committee for the Illinois CPA Society.

Aileen Arsenault, MBA

Arsenault is a managing director for Clifton Gunderson’s international tax services team. With more than 15 years of experience, she specializes in international tax planning, compliance, reporting and audit. Her focus is on earnings and profits; Subpart F, Section 861 expense allocation and apportionment; Foreign Tax Credit tracking and utilization; and repatriation of earnings. Her additional areas of expertise include Section 199 Domestic Production Activity Deduction, FIN48 assessment and reporting, and tax process improvement implementations with an emphasis on internal controls. Prior to her tenure in tax consulting, Arsenault worked for 12 years in the corporate sector in tax, treasury and internal audit.

Margaret (Peggy) Nowak, MST, MBA, EA

Nowak serves as the director of global tax compliance solutions with Clifton Gunderson’s international tax services team. With more than 20 years of experience, she focuses on international tax services and global tax outsourcing; consulting on topics including U.S. and global tax effect of expansion into foreign jurisdictions; restructuring; repatriation planning; Subpart F issues; foreign tax credit analysis; treaty interpretation and inbound and outbound compliance; and reporting. Prior to joining Clifton Gunderson, Nowak was a director at Deloitte Tax LLP where she worked on the international tax compliance platform and managed international tax compliance for diverse clients, including some of the world’s largest public and privately held corporations, mid-size manufacturers and service organizations.
