On Saturday, May 21, at 11 a.m., Cabela’s General Manager Chris Robertson will present a new Chevy pickup to a local winner of the company’s Fifty Years, Fifty Trucks sweepstakes.
The winner, Larry Collien of Fond du Lac, Wis., will take ownership of his truck – valued at more than $37,000 – on the spot. He was among 18 winners drawn last month.
Though the contest allows for multiple submissions through a variety of methods, including automatic entries for using a Cabela’s CLUB Visa card, Collien won after submitting a single entry at the store.
Entries in the sweepstakes, part of Cabela’s yearlong celebration of its 50th anniversary, will be accepted through the end of the year. Another drawing of 24 more winners will be held in September, followed by one truck giveaway a week for the last eight weeks of the year – 32 trucks remain unclaimed.
The Richfield Cabela’s store is located at One Cabela Way, off State Highway 145 between U.S. Highway 41 and U.S. Highway 45.
