— Legislative Democrats are looking to expand a program that encourages banks to issue commercial loans. The program establishes a loan loss reserve fund that lenders and borrowers contribute to up front, with their contribution matched by the state. The reserve fund is meant to encourage banks to provide loans to small and medium-sized businesses that may be viewed as slightly more risky. The state would pay $350,000, which the legislators said could leverage as much as $13 million in lending. Kraft’s frozen pizza business employees about 3,400 people, with roughly 1,000 workers in Little Chute. Oshkosh Corp. gets $290M order: Oshkosh Corp. today announced a $290 million delivery order to supply 725 next-generation loading vehicles under an existing contract with the U.S. Army.
