MILWAUKEE — Wired Wisconsin today announced that two new partners have joined its coalition – Building Economic Strength Together (BEST) and Open Systems Technologies.

“Technological growth depends on drawing ideas and knowledge from many leaders and making the connections to link them together,” said Thad Nation, Executive Director of Wired Wisconsin. “I am excited to welcome BEST and Open Systems Technologies as the newest partners of Wired Wisconsin.”

BEST is a regional organization in southwestern Wisconsin that serves as a connector and provides support for communities in the region to combat the deterioration of the lifestyle and economic structure of the region. BEST works to lessen the burdens of local governments by matching and coordinating needs, resources, and activities of the region’s businesses, organizations, associations, and residents to limit duplication of services and achieve joint goals.

Open Systems Technologies has been providing staffing solutions in the technology space for Fortune 2000 clients for over 20 years. They have over 1,300 contractors nationally and annual billing revenue of $300 million. The Midwest Operations are headquartered in Chicago but do extensive work in Wisconsin.

“These two new partners will join a growing coalition that works to support an environment for innovative technology, high-tech job creation, and economic growth,” said Nation.

Wired Wisconsin and its partners work to educate consumers, policy makers, and businesses about technology-related legislative and regulatory issues that impact our lives, and advocate for common-sense approaches to spur innovation, grow the economy and promote investments in our technological infrastructure.
