New Website Publicizes Local Resources and Opportunities
The newest local economic development effort in Sheboygan County was recently revealed to a local and international audience, as the county’s economic development corporation launched its new website, http://www.SheboyganCountyEDC.com.
According to Executive Director Patrick Drinan, the website will connect Sheboygan County to a world-wide audience, and serve as a portal for economic development resources in Sheboygan County. “The new website will serve as our permanent online platform for information, communications, and promotions. We will highlight Sheboygan County’s attributes to the world, promote resources to retain local companies, and attract new investment to the county,” said Drinan. “A vast majority of research regarding corporate investment decisions is conducted online, and the SCEDC is now an active player in the business retention, expansion, and relocation game.”
The Sheboygan County Economic Development Corporation’s website contains information regarding financial resources, workforce statistics, available sites and buildings, business and industrial parks, entrepreneur resources, and municipal profiles.
“The website serves as a 24/7 option for accessing information and will allow staff to focus efforts on assisting local businesses and driving job creation,” said SCEDC chairman Gary Dulmes. “We want to make sure our business community members are aware of the resources available to them, and that the SCEDC is playing an integral part in retaining, expanding, and attracting investment throughout the county,” he added.
The SCEDC’s website was designed by Jon Rost Brand Development, located in Sheboygan.
