Milwaukee Area Technical College: Offers training seminar to help businesses with government contracts

Is your business aware of all the opportunities that government procurement has to offer? Milwaukee Area Technical College is hosting two seminars that will help area businesses learn how to effectively compete for contracts to sell your products and services to the federal government on Tuesday, June 22nd at the Oak Creek Campus. The training session will be conducted by the Business Procurement Assistance Center (BPAC) of Madison Area Technical College.

“Getting Started in Federal Contracting” will be held in the morning from 9:00-11:30 am. This entry-level seminar provides a solid orientation to the federal contracting environment for those new to the market.

“Introduction to Custom Manufacturing for the Military” will be held in the afternoon from 1:00 – 4:30 pm. This seminar is geared for the manufacturer that focuses on fabricated metal products, castings, non-metal components and other related industries, who are interested in selling to the Department of Defense.

The training session will be held at: Milwaukee Area Technical College, 6665 South Howell Avenue, Oak Creek, WI. Registration for this seminar is required and can be done online at http://www.matcmadison.edu/bpac-wi. There is a $30 fee per person per seminar.
