Germantown, Wisconsin – MGS Mfg. Group, a provider of engineered manufacturing solutions for the plastics industry, has received ISO 13485:2003 Certification at its Antioch, Illinois clean room facility.
ISO 13485:2003 certification facilitates medical device regulatory requirements for quality management systems. This certification is awarded to companies that demonstrate their ability to provide services that consistently meet requirements applicable to medical devices and related services.
“The achievement of ISO 13485 Certification for the Antioch facility along with the current construction of an ISO certified Class 8 clean room in the MGS Germantown, Wisconsin plant demonstrates the long term commitment the company is making to provide a full range of manufacturing services to the medical and healthcare industries”, says John Berg, MGS Director of Marketing.
Both facilities have also been officially upgraded to ISO 9001:2008 Certification. Receiving both qualifications will aid in the company’s continued growth in the medical market.
