Jannsen & Company: Celebrates 35 years of serving clients, building success

Pewaukee, Wis. – As Jannsen & Company celebrates its 35th anniversary this month, two members of the founding family expressed thanks and appreciation to all the clients and employees who have contributed to its decades of success.

Founded in 1975 by Martin Jannsen, CPA, Jannsen & Company has grown into a multifaceted business services firm that continues to innovate and thrive. The company is headed by Jannsen’s son, Terry Jannsen, CPA, CFP®, who continues in his father’s footsteps of constantly seeking new opportunities to provide value and high-level service to clients.

“First and foremost, we thank all of our clients who have allowed us to work with them as trusted strategic business partners,” Terry Jannsen said. “A company like ours doesn’t last 35 years without the backing of great customers and a top-notch, highly-dedicated professional staff to serve them. Over the years, we’ve expanded our services based directly on feedback from clients about their changing needs and the expertise required to address them. We promise to always keep an open ear to anything our clients have to say.”

Started originally as an accounting firm, Jannsen & Company has expanded its scope of services to include information technology and human resources consulting, payroll processing, and wealth management for both businesses and individuals. The company has received numerous awards and honors, including being named one of the Business Journal’s “Best Places to Work” in 2006.

“When I started Jannsen & Company in 1975, my vision was to build a firm that offered clients a tremendous depth in resources, coupled with highly personalized service in a family atmosphere,” Martin Jannsen said. “I brought in the best talent in the accounting business, and we have continued that approach as the company expanded into other service areas that our customers requested.”

Jannsen & Company continues to strive to keep its clients updated and informed about issues important to them. The firm holds regular seminars on varied business- and consumer-related topics, and has several e-mail newsletters covering news and developments in its service areas.

Jannsen & Company relocated to the brand new Jannsen Center in May 2009. The building was recognized as a 2009 “Project of Distinction” by the Wisconsin Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors Inc.

“We greatly appreciate all the wonderful relationships we’ve built over the past 35 years, and look forward to strengthening them and making many new ones in the future,” Terry Jannsen said.
