For its 13th season the PBS hit series Antiques Roadshow came to Madison Saturday July 11, 2009 at the Alliant Energy Center to shoot future episodes. Madison and surrounding residents brought their most prized antiques to be appraised by specialists from the country’s leading auction houses and independent dealers.
Antiques Roadshow aims to capture tales of family heirlooms and long-lost items found in the corners of the basement or attic that would otherwise go unnoticed. Television personality Mark L. Walberg guides viewers through the appraisal process reaching almost 11 million viewers each week. Antiques Roadshow is a five time Emmy® Award nominated series and is sure to reveal some of Madison’s most prized antiques.
Antiques Roadshow airs every Monday night at 7:00pm on PBS. The Madison based shows are scheduled for: February 15th, February 22th and March 1st, 2010
