October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. During the last week of October (the 21st through the 31st) Wisconsinmade.com (an internet based specialty food and gift store that sells Wisconsin products made with pride and passion by the artisans of Wisconsin) will for the 8th year in a row donate 10% of its sales to the Wisconsin based organization Breast Cancer Recovery.  Log on to http://www.wisconsinmade.com during Oct 21-31 and know that with your purchase you are contributing to Breast Cancer Recovery.

Founded by Ann Haney, Breast Cancer Recovery provides environments for women to heal emotionally, spiritually and physically from breast cancer.  Through its flagship program, Infinite Boundariesä, Breast Cancer Recovery offers four-day wellness retreats for women diagnosed with breast cancer.  This year, nine Infinite Boundariesä  retreats are scheduled, including a retreat near Eagle River, Wisconsin, October 29 – November 1.  Breast Cancer Recovery also sponsors awareness and educational programs, including the annual Sharing the Knowledge conference.  The conference, designed for breast cancer survivors, caregivers and oncology professionals, is scheduled for November 14, 2009 at the Alliant Energy Center, Madison.

“This is just one small way that I can support a great Wisconsin organization that has contributed so much to women surviving with breast cancer,” says Linda Remeschatis, Wisconsinmade.com founder and breast cancer survivor.
