WHY: One of the earliest carbon capture projects is at the We Energies Pleasant Prairie Power Plant in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, where these three companies joined forces to investigate the technical feasibility of Alstom’s chilled ammonia CO2 capture process. This report summarizes the key results at the Pleasant Prairie demonstration project as the next step in the development of this and other carbon capture processes.
