WBIA: To discuss efforts to increase number of blender pumps statewide

MILWAUKEE – The Wisconsin Bio Industry Alliance (WBIA), in partnership with Renew Fuel Stations, Growth Energy, the Renewable Fuels Association, the American Coalition for Ethanol, the American Lung Association and the Wisconsin Corn Growers Association, will be holding a press conference discussing the efforts to expand blender pumps in Wisconsin on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Renew Fuel Stations, 1902 Freedom Road in Little Chute, WI.

Blender pumps allow consumers to determine what percentage of gasoline and ethanol they would like to purchase for their vehicle. The blender pumps at the Renew Fuel Station in Little Chute allow customers to choose between E10 (10% ethanol, 90% gasoline), E20 (20% ethanol, 80% gasoline), or E85 (85% ethanol, 15% gasoline).
