MADISON, Wis. — As a means of providing financial information and advice to its members and the public, Summit Credit Union presents a brand new line up of free educational seminars* at a variety of its branch locations.

With topics including College Bound 101 and first-time home buying, the seminars are designed to provide folks with the necessary information to make sound financial decisions.

Seminars include:

College Bound 101

You’ve often heard college is the best time of your life. And who can disagree? You’re on your own, you have your own rules and there’s no curfew. But college comes with its price – and it’s not cheap. From the ins and outs of financial aid, to managing money while at school, College Bound 101 features information relevant for parents and students heading off to school.

First-time Home Buyer Seminars

The seminar will help take the confusion out of the home buying process and provide participants with information on shopping for a home, making an offer, applying for a loan and more.
