MIDDLETON, WI—Dr. Chris Kammer announces the opening of Kammer Family Dental at the Center for Cosmetic Dentistry, 2275 Deming Way Ste. 180. In the midst of an economic recession and with childhood decay on the rise, Kammer Family Dental responds by offering a practical, affordable dental program for families.
“With children, the younger they begin our preventative care program, the better their chances will be for never needing to receive a shot or have a drilled tooth and filling,” says Dr. Kammer. “The realities of the economy may cause more children to go without dental care. We are attempting to remove the financial barrier.”
According to a recent Center for Disease control study, childhood dental decay has risen an alarming 33 percent over the last 10 years. Center for Cosmetic Dentistry was the first dental office in the United States to use cavity-reversing ozone technology and today, Kammer Family Dental utilizes this modern technology to treat and prevent decay among patients.
“We can keep kids from getting cavities! We’ve been providing this treatment for six years and have patients coming in from all over the country for our decay prevention and our cavity reversal systems,” says Dr. Kammer.
Here’s how the program works:
* Both parents (or if you are a single parent) need to be checked for decay and gum disease at Kammer Family Dental.
* Following their comprehensive exam, parents are advised on their dental status and given a clear understanding of their treatment needs, time, and cost.
* Once parents accept and begin treatment for themselves, all of their children’s (ages 12 and under) preventive dental care will be completed at no additional cost. This care includes exams, X-Rays, cleanings, fluoride treatment and sealants.
* Kammer Family Dental offers a cavity–free guarantee. If children receive all the complimentary preventive care and follow homecare protocols, any cavities requiring filling after the first year on the program will be performed free of charge.
*This does not include pre-existing cavities.
Dental decay and gum disease are transmissible infections that can be passed from parents to their children. The solution to this problem is to remove infections for all family members and maintain the proper preventive measures to stop any reoccurrence. In today’s economic climate, dentistry can become a low priority which allows even more infection and destruction of the mouth.
For 50 years, the Kammer family has provided general dentistry beginning with Dr. Jack Kammer at J.S. Kammer and Associates. After Drs. Jack and Chris Kammer founded the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the practice was renamed Center for Cosmetic Dentistry while continuing to perform all aspects of general family dentistry. Today, the Center for Cosmetic Dentistry announces the opening of Kammer Family Dental while both practices will co-exist under one roof.
