The Wisconsin Public Service Commission (PSC) today approved a 2.5 percent electric rate hike for the Wisconsin Public Service Corporation (WPSC).
The adjustment means the average WPSC customers in northeast Wisconsin will see a boost of about $1.50 to their monthly electric bill.
The PSC said the rate hike will cover increased fuel and transmission costs, essential for WPSC to produce and provide electric service to its customers.
