EAGAN, Minn.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Feb. 6, 2008–Northwest Airlines
(NYSE: NWA) today announced a January consolidated (mainline and
regional) load factor of 79.3 percent, 1.4 points above January 2007.
Northwest reported a mainline load factor of 80.5 percent, 1.4 points
above January 2007.
In January 2008, Northwest and its Northwest Airlink regional
carriers flew 6.13 billion consolidated revenue passenger miles (RPMs)
and 7.73 billion consolidated available seat miles (ASMs), a traffic
increase of 2.9 percent and a capacity increase of 1.1 percent versus
January 2007.
Northwest flew 5.64 billion mainline revenue passenger miles and
7.01 billion mainline available seat miles in January 2008, a traffic
increase of 0.6 percent and a capacity decrease of 1.1 percent versus
January 2007.
