Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar (in Madison and Brookfield) has unveiled a new mobile Web site – m.flemings100.com – where visitors can get instant access to The Fleming’s List of 100 wines by the glass via their mobile phone or handheld device. The site also features a full menu, location search box by zip code and contact information for each restaurant that includes a map.
Whether you’re in town or traveling, this feature is especially helpful when preparing for a big dinner and want a chance to study the wine list beforehand. The mobile site offers a detailed description of the wines with bottle logo, categorized by varietal, in progression, similar to the in-restaurant wine list. To assist guests in making their selections, the mobile list presents a natural, easily understandable flow from lighter to more full-flavored wines.
“Our wine program is at the core of our dining experience, and m.flemings100.com gives wine lovers detailed information on the Fleming’s 100 from the convenience of their mobile phone,” says Marian Jansen op de Haar, director of wine at Fleming’s. “Now no matter where our guests are traveling they will be able to find the perfect bottle of wine quickly and easily.”
The mobile site includes all 70 wines from the Fleming’s List of 100 which can be found at all Fleming’s locations nationwide; the remaining 30 of the 100 wines which each restaurant chooses to reflect unique local preferences are not included on this mobile Web site.
