Governor Doyle Announces Funding

Project to create 10 jobs


 


MADISON— Governor Jim Doyle today announced that BWAY Corporation, Sturtevant, Racine County, will receive $150,000 in Technology Zone tax credits. The project is expected to create 10 new positions.


 


Wisconsin is home to the best manufacturing companies in the world,” Governor Doyle said. “I am pleased to be able to help BWAY Corporation expand their capabilities and create new jobs for hardworking families in Racine County.”


 


BWAY Corporation manufactures metal cans. The company’s metal cans are currently used for paint products, lubricants, sealants, charcoal lighter fluid, and personal care products.


BWAY Corporation is investing $3.5 million to purchase equipment for a new aerosol can manufacturing line for its facility in Sturtevant.
