MADISON – Department of Commerce (Commerce) Secretary Mary P. Burke today announced that Henry Wilde has been appointed Commerce Administrator of the Business Development Division.
“Henry Wilde has strong background in business development and entrepreneurship as well as domestic social and economic issues brings a wealth of state government experience at the senior management level,” Secretary Burke said. “He will be a tremendous asset to my management team as we work together to grow the Wisconsin economy.”
From 2001 to the present, Wilde has managed the company he co-founded, Accelero Learning, New York, NY, which provides management services to Head Start agencies. From 1998-2000, he was a consultant for the Monitor Company, Cambridge, MA, providing strategic management advice to Fortune 500 companies. He earned his MBA from Harvard Business School, where he focused on social entrepreneurship, and a BA Harvard University with a concentration on African American Studies. .
