‘Pack’ in a Weekend of Fun

GREEN BAY, Wis., Sept. 24 /PRNewswire/ — Footballs fans know how to make the most of game day. Tailgating outside Lambeau Field is a tradition for many Packers fans, but on non-game days you can also experience a variety of events and activities inside the Lambeau Field Atrium.

“Of course everyone thinks football when you mention Lambeau Field,” said Dennis Fenrick, Packers manager of Atrium operations. “Football is our number one attraction, but there is more to Lambeau Field than game days.” The Lambeau Field Atrium features a variety of activities, stores and restaurants and is open to the public year-round, every day, except Thanksgiving and Christmas, from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m.

So what is there to do at Lambeau?

— The Packers Hall of Fame — Eighty years of Packers history comes alive
in a unique, interactive 25,000-square-foot Packers Hall of Fame. The
nearly 80 exhibits include three Super Bowl trophies and a re-creation
of Vince Lombardi’s office. A children’s area lets little fans take
their own “Lambeau Leap” in Packers gear.

— Stadium Tours — Ever dream of running through the player’s tunnel and
into legendary Lambeau Field? It’s possible, if you take one of the
daily stadium tours. A behind the scenes look at the NFL’s most storied
stadium.

— Packers Pro Shop and Pro Shop Extra Point Store — Anything and
everything a Packers fan could want ranging from clothing to household
items! A unique place to simply visit, there’s a custom-made football
chandelier, NFL team helmets and a refurbished 1957 Packers Chevy
pickup.

The Lambeau Field Atrium also features three restaurants:

— Curly’s Pub (and interactive game zone) — Tackle Packer-sized servings
from a diverse menu including Wisconsin favorites: brats, booyah and
cheese curds! Watch a game on one of 124 televisions or try your skills
at Curly’s Game Zone.

— The Hall of Fame Grill — Have lunch amidst legendary Packers artifacts
while enjoying an all-you-care-to-eat lunch, offering brick oven
pizzas, homemade soups, salad bar and signature entrees.

— Frozen in Time ice cream and coffee shop — Oven-fresh cinnamon rolls,
gourmet coffee, desserts and Breyers premium ice cream flavors.

When you visit the Atrium, don’t be surprised if you see a trade show or convention, or even a wedding reception. “The Atrium’s various room sizes and catering capabilities make it a popular location for events ranging from a dozen people to more than 1,200,” said Beth Haws, Packers special events corporate sales manager.

The Atrium also hosts special events that are open to the public, including two free family events: Spooktacular Fun, a Halloween event, and Project LEAP (Lambeau’s Exercise and Activity Playground), in February.

“Lambeau Field is legendary, and now people can visit anytime, even if they don’t have a ticket to a game,” said Fenrick.
