New North Announces New Research Manager

NEW NORTH, October 3, 2007 – The New North, Inc. announced on Wednesday that Christine Kaup has joined the New North as the group’s new Research Manager.


 


“Christine brings a wealth of experience in the realm of regional economic development, and we’re very excited to have her on the team,” said Jerry Murphy, Executive Director of the New North, Inc.


 


Prior to joining the New North, Kaup was an Associate Planner for economic development for the East Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission, and worked with 10 of the counties in the New North region around Lake Winnebago.


 


Robin Cannedy, the former Research Manager for the New North, has returned to WPS, which generously offered her services to the New North on a temporary basis.


 


“It’s a pleasure to be a part of such a dynamic group of economic development professionals, and I look forward to bringing in my own experience as we work to grow the economy of the New North,” Kaup said.
