Governor Pawlenty Headlines Young America’s Foundation’s Minneapolis Conference

More than 200 participants from Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, and North and South Dakota are attending Young America’s Foundation’s Midwest Conference. Speakers include Governor Tim Pawlenty, KTLK radio host Jason Lewis, best-selling author Peter Schweizer, Minneapolis Star-Tribune columnist Katherine Kersten, terrorism and Middle East expert Jonathan Schanzer, and Powerline.com blogger Scott Johnson.

“There is a deep need for a conservative student conference in the Midwest. Young people are bombarded with leftist activities, programs, and dogmas from their teachers and administrators on a daily basis,” says Roger Custer, Young America’s Foundation’s conference director. “We are providing students with the tools and ammunition needed to advance conservative ideas in these hostile places.”

As the principal outreach organization of the Conservative Movement for 37 years, Young America’s Foundation introduces thousands of young people to conservative ideas through national conferences, campus lectures and activism programs, internships, and seminars at the Foundation’s Reagan Ranch Center and nationwide. Young America’s Foundation also preserves the Reagan Ranch as a premier presidential property and living tribute to Ronald Reagan’s life and ideas.
