GOVERNOR DOYLE ANNOUNCES GRANTS

MADISON – Governor Jim Doyle today announced that 10 Wisconsin businesses will share $106,000 in funding from the Department of Commerce’s Wisconsin Trade Program to help cover expenses incurred while attending an international trade show.


 


“Wisconsin companies are known around the world for their innovation and top quality products,” Governor Doyle said. “To continue growing our economy and increasing our exports, it’s vital to support Wisconsin companies as they compete on the global marketplace.”


 


The projects are as follows:


 



  • Primorigen Biosciences LLC, Madison, Dane County, $5,000 WTP grant.

  • Clonex Development, Inc., Madison, Dane County, $5,000 WTP grant.

  • Stemina Biomarker Discovery, Inc., Madison, Dane County, $5,000 WTP grant.

  • Planet LLC, Madison, Dane County, $5,000 WTP grant.

  • Midwest Ammonia Refrigeration, Onalaska, La Crosse County, $5,000 WTP grant.

  • Feeco International, Inc. Green Bay, Brown County, $5,000 WTP grant.

  • Hampel Crop., Germantown, Washington County, $5,000 WTP grant.

  • OMNNI Associates, Inc. Appleton, Outagamie County, $5,000 WTP grant.

  • H.G. Weber & Co., Kiel, Calumet County, $5,000 WTP grant.

  • Liquid Waste Technology, Somerset, St. Croix County, $5,000 WTP grant.

 


The Wisconsin Trade Project Program provides individual grants up to $5,000 to reimburse small Wisconsin companies for expenses incurred while attending an international trade show, such as booth rental, product literature translations, or displays. High-tech companies can also receive a grant to attend a trade show held in the U.S. that has international attendees. The program does not pay for travel, lodging, or related costs.
