Direct Response Forum Announces Availability of Continuing Education Credits for Financial Professionals

MADISON, Wis., June 25 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — The Direct Response Forum (DRF), the leading trade association for payments professionals in the direct response industry, today announced that the 2007 Forum has been approved for up to 13 Certified Treasury Professional (CTP(SM))/Certified Cash Manager (CCM(SM)) recertification credit(s) by the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP(R)). This year’s DRF annual meeting will be held in Seattle from August 5th through 7th.

This premier industry event brings together leading direct merchants, credit card acquirers, credit card companies, and payments service providers for two days of interactive panels, breakout sessions, and roundtable discussions focused on key topics affecting the customer/card not present (CNP) merchant community.

“The Association for Financial Professionals(R)’ approval represents a major step forward for the DRF,” said Katie Maher, Executive Director of the DRF. “It validates the steps that we have taken to ensure the quality of the information that is delivered in our sessions. Unlike other conferences, all of the material presented in our sessions has been thoroughly reviewed by multiple board members and payment industry experts. Our Forum offers the best educational opportunities for payments professionals in the direct marketing industry.”

“The quality of our educational sessions is second to none,” said Fred Rodriguez, Chairman of the DRF. “But direct response professionals come to our conference for more than just the outstanding education; they also come for the opportunity to learn from and network with other key professionals in the industry. Our conference has always offered exceptionally valuable opportunities to our attendees — and now they will get professional credit for it as well.”

This year’s Forum titled “What’s Brewing in Payments?” will be hosted by Microsoft at the Westin Seattle Hotel. Registration information is available at http://www.directresponseforum.org/.
