BAIRD CAPITAL PARTNERS EXITS INVESTMENT IN TRIALGRAPHIX THROUGH SALE TO KROLL

MIAMI, September 27, 2007 – Baird Capital Partners (BCP), the U.S.-based buyout fund of Baird Private Equity, today exited its equity investment in TrialGraphix, Inc. through its sale to Kroll, Inc., a leading risk consulting company and operating unit of the global professional services firm Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. (NYSE: MMC). TrialGraphix will operate as part of the Legal Technology business of Kroll Ontrack®.  TrialGraphix, Inc., based in Miami, is a leading national provider of litigation consulting services specializing in trial exhibits, multimedia technology and jury consulting.  The value of the transaction was not disclosed.

BCP first invested in TrialGraphix in December 2004.  As typical of its investing approach, BCP’s support of TrialGraphix extended well beyond providing capital.  During the partnership period, BCP maintained an active role on the company’s Board of Directors and focused on assisting management in capitalizing on the Company’s expansion opportunities, by both adding to service offerings and entering into new markets.
