Wisconsin Energy Issues 2005 Performance Report

The 2005 WEC Performance Report follows the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Sustainability Reporting Guidelines, a voluntary protocol that helps corporations communicate information in a balanced, clear, complete and transparent manner to employees, customers, stockholders and others interested in company performance.


This is the company’s fifth performance report. Wisconsin Energy issued its first performance report in 2002 (for the year 2001), becoming the first energy company in Wisconsin to endorse the GRI Guidelines and articulate its economic, environmental and social performance to its stakeholders. GRI Guidelines allow Wisconsin Energy’s performance to be compared more easily with other organizations that publish GRI-based performance reports.
