Milwaukee, Wis. – The Wisconsin Better Business Bureau has launched a new web site. The address, http://www.wisconsin.bbb.org, is still the same, but the site has a new look, contains more information and is easier to navigate.
Consumers can get instant access to reliability reports on about 83,000 companies in Wisconsin. Or, if the company isn’t located in Wisconsin, consumers can click on the “national search” option and gain access to reliability reports to companies throughout the United States and Canada. The reports provide information about a company’s history, location, phone number, type of business, owner’s name, customer service contact and complaint history. Consumers also can find out if there are any government actions against the company.
“Savvy consumers do their research first,” said Randall Hoth, president of the Wisconsin BBB. “We urge everyone to use the resources of the Better Business Bureau when researching a company. We’d like everyone to add our website to their list of ‘favorites’.”
The Wisconsin BBB’s website already receives more than 1.6 million views per month. With this new, more user-friendly format, Hoth expects even more traffic from consumers. For those people who do not have access to the internet, they can call 414-847-6000 (metro Milwaukee) or 1-800-273-1002 (elsewhere in Wisconsin).
